Every time I'm listening to this song, I imagine my childhood crush. Haha, I kept praying for him since then, he's been really my super-duper crush. He and his lil bro were really cute as kids and I remember one time, I appreciate them so much when they helped my mom gathering firewood and also went to our humble home to assist my papa in cutting the woods. I started to grow fonder of him since then. His family migrated to the US last 201X and every time he's home with his family, I love looking at him from afar. I call him "my love so sweet" btw (haha). I never got the chance to confess because I know I will never be his type of girl. We were so poor so I decided to get rich first so I can court him (haha I'd really wanna take the chance to ask him for a date one day). I know it's crazy but that was my goal. I remember blocking him first time because he got a gf and he used to bring her in their home when they're still living here. Her ex was so pretty, they looked so good together! I'm kinda close to his lil bro and to her aunts and uncles even to her papa and grannies and I know he knew I have a crush on him, but he never had a crush on me. I unblocked him last year because I heard they broke up; I can see he's living his good life now working in Boeing. Last December, he finally found the love of his life and she's from the Philippines too, that broke my heart into pieces, so I blocked him again (haha!). There was that time when I was alone working in the church's secretariat office then her aunt came and then he called. I heard them on the phone (my crush and her gf) greeting her aunt a happy new year. That's one of the New Year's Eve I will never forget. My back hurts from crying so hard I dunno know what's wrong I couldn't even stand up and walk (haha) thought I'm not gonna survive that night. I was really affected and now I heard they're getting married (huhu) cried so hard for many nights praying to sleep fast so I won't think about it (haha!), but still, I do pray they'll have a great marriage. He deserves to be happy. She is actually very pretty, (he really has a great taste when it comes to choosing his gfs) she must be a great blessing to him, and I believe she is the answer to his prayers. I never got tired of crushing (even loving him,) from afar but since they're getting married I gotta let go of these feelings. James Arthur, I love your songs. I know he's sad every time he's leaving her (I'm feeling for him), but soon he will not be leaving him, soon they'll have a good married life together. Best wishes Ge*i and soon to be wife. I may not be able to greet you on your birthdays and wedding day, but I genuinely wish you the best. 🖤🤍
